Have you ever made butter sautéed celery?

Yep, it is just plain old celery.

I first had it when my sister-in-law came into town. For some reason it hit the spot.

It is surprisingly delicious, even if you aren’t much for eating raw celery.

But, perhaps if you sautée anything in butter it is bound to taste good.

This is a perfect meal for a summer day and perfect when you have a lot of celery that needs used up.

Also, there is no sacrifice for flavor when cooking this low calorie side dish.



Butter Sautéed Celery


  • 8 Stocks of Celery
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Warm your fry pan and add the butter. Stir until it melts then add the celery. Stir to coat the celery. Cook stirring every few moments until the celery is softened but slightly crunchy. Add on top of rice and red beans, and top with Mr. Yoshidas Teriyaki Sauce. You can also use this as a side for any dish. It is light and refreshing.
